A
violin is playing—
The
strings are so nice—
Carrying
me far away
To
my own little paradise.
Butterflies
are floating
On
a breeze way up high.
The
breeze is rustling the leaves in the trees,
Causing
me to sigh.
Bees
are buzzing
And
making their honey.
The
bluebirds are singing
With
no thoughts of money.
I
come back to the present
And
see that I too—
Have
no need to worry,
For
Lord, I have You.
“Father,
thank You that there is no need to worry.
You have it all covered. And most
importantly, You have me covered by Your blood.
I
have been washed and made new by You.
Thank You, Father.
It
is so easy to start worrying—but there is so much to be thankful for.
And
when I stop and be still, I realize that You are God and You are in control.
There
is never a reason to fear, for nothing can happen to me or my loved ones
without going through You first.
When
I worry about my past, I just need to stop and say,
‘The
past is covered,
And
the future is waiting,
So
I will face forward
And
keep looking up
As
I continue to walk with You today.’
“Father,
thank You that You care about me.
I
love You so much, and I know that because You are on my side, I need not fear
what man can do to me—or any other force—for You have overcome it all.
Oh,
Lord, I love You. Thank you so much for
loving me and for showing me more of Your Love each day.
Your
grace amazes me, Lord. The grace You
give me allows me to live a life that is beautiful to You, for it is Your grace
that helps in my time of need that You tell me to ask for before Your throne
with confidence (Hebrews 4:16).
I
love You, Lord.
In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
What
is my cup of SonShine today?
To
not worry, but to come to my caring Heavenly Father who loves me and to let Him
know my requests while I give Him thanks.
And
He has promised to replace my worry and stress with a peace that is beyond
understanding—a peace that only comes from God (Philippians 4:6-7).
“I
love You, Lord. Thank You for taking the
worries of today, and thank You for giving me peace.
In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
