Psalm 118:1 (NKJV)
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Psalm 118:22-24 (NKJV)
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the Lord's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
I Peter 2:7-10 (NKJV)
Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,
and
A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.
They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
May today be a day of rest and rejoicing as you spend time in the presence of Jesus, your Savior, the Chief Cornerstone.
Enjoy your cup of SonShine for today:
Rest and Rejoicing in the presence of our Lord.
May His praise be on our lips as we give thanks for His mercies that are new every morning and as we seek to make known to those around us His mercies that He has shown to us.
God bless you with a Sunday filled to overflowing with His grace and peace, love and joy.
Lord, may this day be all about You.
May we take time today to just BE in Your presence
and BE still, knowing that You are God.
I love You, Lord.
Help me to dwell on Your mercies today
and make them known
in grace and love.
I love You, Lord!
I give You this day.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
